Our incredibly talented designer, Myanda, has recently designed a beautiful illustration for a limited-edition water bottle commission by Central Highlands Water (CHW) for the 2025 Ballarat Begonia Festival.
Myanda’s design captures the beauty and diversity of the Begonia’s showcased at the festival. Using a combination of tuberous and non-tuberous varieties like Cana and Rex, she created a vibrant pattern that reflects the charm and uniqueness of these beloved flowers.
The creative design of the reusable stainless-steel water bottle was launched on the 5th of February in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, along with an Indigenous design by Shakira Winmar.
Beyond its eye-catching design, this water bottle is part of a meaningful initiative supporting those in need. For only $10, you can purchase this beautifully designed bottle at the Begonia Festival, with all proceeds going to Cafs’ Thread Together Program. This initiative provides brand new clothing and accessories to people in need across Ballarat.
Reflecting on her work, Myanda shared:
“This illustration highlights the diversity of the unique and rare collections of Begonias featured in the the Ballarat Begonia Festival. It’s been a pleasure working with CHW for this project to raise money for Cafs’ Thread Together Program”.
